What I Do

I work with individuals and couples who are navigating periods of transition, uncertainty, or emotional strain. Many people come to therapy feeling stuck — unsure how to move forward, overwhelmed by competing demands, or disconnected from themselves or others. My role is to offer a steady, supportive space where we can slow things down and make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface.

I believe meaningful change begins with understanding. Together, we explore patterns, emotional responses, and relational dynamics in a way that feels compassionate and grounded. Therapy is not about fixing what’s broken, but about building awareness, resilience, and clarity so you can move through life with greater intention.

This is the third chapter of my adult life. I worked in corporate, healthcare, and non-profit environments as a career counselor, stayed at home to support my three kids, and I’m now working as a mental health practitioner. As a friend said, I have plenty of “life seasoning.”

We are always in a perpetual state of being created
and creating ourselves. – Dan Siegel

Working With Specific Concerns

I frequently work with individuals and couples navigating relationship conflict, emotional disconnection, relationship clarity questions, affairs, relationship crisis, and communication challenges. I also support clients dealing with life transitions, identity shifts, perfectionism, and chronic self-criticism.

Many clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed by stress, uncertainty, or relational patterns that no longer serve them. Our work focuses on understanding these experiences, strengthening emotional regulation, and developing more supportive ways of relating — to yourself and to others. This includes support around discernment, conscious uncoupling, and navigating change with intention and care.

Who I work with

I work with individuals and couples navigating a wide range of relational and life challenges. Much of my work centers on couples who feel disconnected, stuck in repetitive patterns, or unsure how to move forward together. In our work, we focus on deepening understanding, improving communication, and creating space for greater emotional safety and connection.

I also support individuals facing significant life transitions, including changes in relationships, identity, career, or family roles. Many clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, self-critical, or uncertain about what they want or need. Together, we work to clarify values, strengthen self-trust, and create a clearer sense of direction.

For those considering separation or divorce, I offer relationship-clarity-focused work to help partners thoughtfully explore their options. Some couples refer to this kind of short-term decision work as discernment counseling, though approaches can vary. Whether the path forward involves repair or separation, the goal is to move ahead with intention, honesty, and care.

How I Work

My approach is relational, collaborative, and grounded in curiosity. I aim to create a space where clients feel both supported and gently challenged as they explore patterns, emotions, and long-standing beliefs.

Therapy with me balances reflection with practical insight. We work to increase emotional awareness, develop healthier ways of relating, and build tools that support meaningful change. Humor, warmth, and honesty are welcome parts of the process, alongside depth and accountability.
