JESSI LEADER, MA, LAMFT
My work as a therapist supports people that need help with decision making and transitioning, but also people who are dealing with major hurt and feel completely stuck, hopeless, or angry.
I work with couples experiencing crisis, lack of trust and who have difficulty communicating. I also support men exploring issues like intimacy, masculinity, and fatherhood. And most anyone who is navigating the crazy, curvy roads of transition.
I am a therapist that believes in the power of connection. When we experience a lack of connection to those around us often we are not our best selves. When we are not our healthiest individual selves, then it is hard to be fully present in our daily lives.
Remember when you were a kid and you asked “Why” about everything, over and over again … well that was me then and even more so now. This curiosity (which must have been annoying to my momma) has made me an effective therapist. As a client you will experience my curiosity through playfulness, humor, and art. I do this in a warm, intentional and challenging way. I am a multi-racial therapist who embraces LGBTQ.
I live in South Minneapolis with my partner and two kitties. I become energized when exploring the outdoors, cultures new to me, and places in the world I have yet to travel.
